About Me

I'm a developer living in Oslo with my wife and our doxie Freia. I am currently working mostly with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Databases + SQL, HTML and CSS to build practical, user-friendly web applications. I enjoy turning ideas and designs into working products, integrating APIs, and building components that are clear, maintainable, and easy to work with in a team.

Before moving into development, I worked in creative fields like video production, motion design and animation. That background still shapes how I approach development today — I tend to think a lot about structure, clarity and how things feel from the user's perspective.

Right now my work is mostly frontend, but I'm actively moving toward full-stack development and system design. I'm interested in understanding how systems work end-to-end, not just building the interface.

I also keep up with newer tools and workflows, including AI-assisted development and AI agents, but I try to balance that with a solid understanding of the basics. For me it's important to actually understand the code, review it properly, and know how things work under the hood.

I like solving problems, learning continuously, and working with people who care about building good, thoughtful software.
